General Terms & Conditions
Welcome to FlyTribe! By booking a flight, buying a gift card, or entering our tunnel, you agree to the terms below.
1. General Information
FlyTribe AS (“FlyTribe”) is the provider of the experiences at Balder Allé 16, 2060 Gardermoen, Norway. These terms apply to all purchases made via flytribe.no, our partners, or on-site.
2. Safety First
Your safety is our top priority. To fly with us, you must meet the following criteria:
- Weight: You must weigh less than 120 kg.
- Age: You must be 5 years or older and fit into one of our helmets.
- Health: You cannot fly if you are pregnant or have a history of shoulder dislocations.
- Sobriety: You must not be under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or impairing medication.
- Important Documents: Before gearing up, every flyer must sign a Release of Liability (Waiver).
- Under 18? A parent or legal guardian must sign a Statement of Consent for you.
- FlyTribe reserves the right to deny access without refund if these documents are not signed or if safety instructions are not followed.
3. Booking, Cancellations & Refunds
We understand plans can change. Here is how we handle cancellations:
A. First Timers
- Rescheduling: You can move your booking free of charge up to 24 hours before your flight time.
- Late Cancellation: If you cancel less than 24 hours before, or do not show up, the flight time is forfeited. We do not offer refunds for missed flights.
- Arrival: Please arrive on time. We cannot guarantee flight time for late arrivals.
B. Sport Flyers (Pro-Flyers)
Refunds are not offered for invoiced tunnel time. However, you can cancel or reschedule without penalty if you do so within these timeframes:
- Up to 2 hours booked: 1 week notice.
- Up to 4 hours booked: 2 weeks’ notice.
- Up to 8 hours booked: 4 weeks’ notice.
- Up to 10 hours booked: 5 weeks’ notice.
- Up to 20 hours booked: 10 weeks’ notice.
- Late Cancellation Fee: A 25% booking fee applies if you cancel later than these deadlines.
- Serious Illness or Injury: If you are unable to fly due to medical reasons, you may cancel without penalty, regardless of the notice period.
- Requirement: You must provide a valid medical certificate.
- Credit: The full value of your booking will be credited to your FlyTribe account for future use (no cash refunds).
C. Right of Withdrawal (Consumers)
In accordance with the Norwegian Cancellation Act (Angrerettloven), consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal for gift cards and vouchers purchased online.
- If you have already used the service (flown) within these 14 days, you cannot claim a refund.
- If the service has started but is not finished, you may be liable for the portion used.
4. Payment Terms (Sport Flyers & Business)
To keep our tunnel schedule running smoothly for everyone, we apply the following payment terms for professional and corporate bookings:
Sport Flyers & Camps
- Deposit: FlyTribe reserves the right to request a 15% deposit 4 weeks before your booked flight time. For camp bookings, this deposit applies 4 weeks from the start of the camp.
- Final Balance: The remaining balance must be paid 1 week before your flight time (or the start of the camp), unless a different agreement has been made in writing.
- Refunds & Credits: Payments are non-refundable. In the event of a cancellation, the paid amount will be credited to your FlyTribe account for future tunnel time bookings (subject to the cancellation terms in Section 3).
Business (B2B) Packages
- Invoicing: We will issue an invoice 1 month prior to your scheduled event.
- Due Date: Payment is due no later than 14 days before the event date.
5. Gift Cards & Vouchers
- Validity: Unless otherwise stated, vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
- Redemption: You must redeem your voucher at booking.flytribe.no before arriving. Bring your voucher code (digital or printed) on the day of the flight.
- Transfer: Gift cards are transferable to another person.
- Expiration: Flights must be booked and flown before the expiration date. Expired vouchers cannot be used or refunded.
6. Photos & Video Policy
For First Timers
- Quality: Bodyflight is fast! While we aim for perfection, we cannot guarantee every shot is perfectly framed due to movement. Refunds are limited to the media price only, not the flight time, in case of technical errors.
- Downloads: Media is available for download for 30 days via our portal (password: your voucher code).
- Privacy: We respect your privacy. We will not use your identifiable photos for marketing unless you explicitly give us permission.
For Sport Flyers
- Retention: We keep raw video footage for one (1) month, during which you can download it.
- Usage Rights: FlyTribe retains ownership of the footage. We reserve the right to use videos for marketing and social media unless you explicitly opt-out. We may also keep selected footage for internal training.
7. Privacy & Data Protection (GDPR)
We care about your personal data.
- Data Collection: We collect necessary data (name, contact info, weight, age) to ensure safety and process your booking.
- Third-Party Processors: To provide our services, we share data with trusted partners, including ISS (Tunnel Management System) for flight operations and payment providers like Klarna or Vipps.
- Marketing & Cookies: We use cookies to optimize our marketing and website experience. We may store data for statistical and marketing purposes in accordance with applicable laws.
- Your Rights: You have the right to request access to, or deletion of, your data (unless retention is required by law for safety/accounting).
8. Force Majeure
FlyTribe is not liable for failure to perform its obligations if such failure is a result of Acts of God (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane or other natural disaster), war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, hostilities (regardless of whether war is declared), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power or confiscation, terrorist activities, nationalisation, government sanction, blockage, embargo, labor dispute, strike, lockout, or interruption or failure of electricity or telephone service.
9. Applicable Law & Dispute Resolution
- Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway.
- Disputes: We always aim to resolve issues directly with you. If we cannot reach a solution:
- Consumers can refer the dispute to The Consumer Authority (Forbrukertilsynet) for mediation.
- If mediation fails, the case may be referred to the Consumer Disputes Commission (Forbrukerklageutvalget).
- You can also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform.
- Any other disputes shall be settled by the general courts of Norway.
